Broad-fruited Cornsalad

Flowering June-July. Annual. Introduced.

Similar to Cornsalad, V. locusta but taller and more erect, the flowers with longer stalks. Fruit are smooth, un-grooved, broadly egg-shaped. Calyx teeth short, entire. Height 15-40cm.

Arable land in central, S, E and SE Ireland, rare and declining.
