Narrow-fruited Cornsalad

Flowering June - July. Annual. Introduced.

Similar to Cornsalad, V. locusta but a taller, more erect plant. Fruits are not inflated, pear-shaped, flat on one side, 2mm long x 1mm wide. Calyx with persistent teeth, one distinctly longer tooth.

Arable land in central, S, E and SE Ireland, very rare, declining.
