Flowering time: May-August. Annual or biennial. Native.

Sky-blue flowers with yellow centres, 2-5 mm. Petals rounded. Seed nutlets dark brown. Hairy stems and leaves. No creeping runners. Tufted plant, sometimes branched from base. Grows and hybridizes with Water Forget-me-not, M. scorpoides.

Widespread, damp or wet ground. Marshes, meadows, stream and pondsides.
Found on more calcareous soils than Creeping Forget-me-not, M. secunda
