Flowering time: May-October. Perennial. Native.

Bright blue flowers, occasionally pink/white, yellow eye. 4-10 mm. Petals slightly notched. Seed nutlets black. Larger flowers than Tufted or Creeping Forget-me-nots. Creeping runners. Leaves, stems hairless or close-pressed hairs. 15-30cm.

Wet ground, ditches, stream edges, pondsides. Common most parts of Ireland.

Hybridises with Tufted Forget-me-not, M. laxa.
