Yellow flowers, 2-7 on branched flower stalks, with few scale leaves. Achenes without beak, pappus of feathery hairs. Leaves untoothed to deeply pinnate, hairless or sparsely hairy. Height: 15-35cm. Very variable.

Frequent, roadsides and damp grassland.

Similar: Rough Hawkbit, L. hispidus. Yellow flowers.
Much hairier leaves, wavy-toothed.
