Lesser Twayblade Small pinkish-brown flowers, lip deeply divided into 2 pointed, narrow lobes. Single pair of small glossy green leaves. Very small, inconspicuous plant. Height to 15cm. Wet, acidic, shaded ground. Often grows in moss below heather, also in moss and acidic leaf-litter in woods. Most frequently recorded from N Ireland. Related: Common Twayblade, L. ovata |
