Green Field-speedwell White or bluish-white flowers with white lower petals. Sepals blunt, oblong. Fruit capsule 2-lobed, glandular hairs. Seeds with parallel axis. Flowers with shorter stalks than those of Common Field-speedwell, V. persica. Pale-green leaves, hairy, oval, toothed. Short-stalked, mainly alternate. Leaves longer than flower-stalks. Branched, spreading plant, 5-30cm. Well-drained, acidic soil. Waste ground, arable land, gardens, walls. Decreasing. Identified by Paul Green |
