Vipers-bugloss Funnel-shaped flowers, usually blue or blue/violet in curved cymes. Pink buds. Hairy/bristly leaves, strap-shaped with obvious mid-vein. Upper leaves are unstalked. Erect stems with reddish bristles. Height: To 80 cm. Well-drained sandy/chalky soils. Dunes, cliffs, waste ground, grassland. Native in some locations, introduced garden escape in others.
