Flowering time: July-September. Perennial. Native.

Small pink flowers, drooping, long-stalked. Notched petals, 4-lobed stigma.
Grey-green oblong-lanceolate leaves, entire or small-toothed. Stalkless,
some leaves alternate. Round stems covered with soft hairs. 30-90cm.

Very frequent. Damp ground, marshes, watersides. Also found on drier waste ground and walls.

Similar: Great Willowherb, E. hirsutum. Larger.
