Saxifraga x polita (S. hirsuta x S. spathularis)
Family: Saxifragaceae

Very variable, fertile hybrid between Kidney Saxifrage, S. hirsuta and
St.Patricks Cabbage, S. spathularis.

Flowering time: May-July. Perennial. Native.
Small white/pinkish flowers on erect hairy stalks.
Leaves variably intermediate between Kidney Saxifrage and St.Patricks Cabbage.

Frequent in SW Ireland in habitats supporting Kidney Saxifrage, S. hirsuta.
Also found in Galway and Mayo in absence of S. hirsuta.
