Main flowering June-September. Biennial / perennial. Native.

Tall spike of numerous greenish-white bell-shaped flowers. Circular bright green, fleshy leaves with blunt round teeth. Hairless. Height 15-40cm.

Acidic walls, rocks, banks, woodland. Frequent and can be locally abundant,
S, SE, NE, W Ireland.

Similar: Marsh Pennywort, Hydrocotyle vulgaris. Smaller, creeping, rooting.
Tiny pinkish-green flowers. Bogs, fens.
