Flowering: March-October. Annual. Native.

Pink flowers with orange or purple anthers. Flowers sometimes white.
Petals slightly notched. Fruit usually hairy. Leaves palmate, stems and leaves
often red-tinged. Frequently over-winters (centre below). Height: 10-40 cm

Abundant. Woods, hedgebanks, gardens, dry disturbed ground.

Similar: Little-robin, G. purpureum. Smaller flowers with yellow anthers, fleshier leaves. Very rare, S Ireland. Often coastal.
