Flowering June - July. Shrub. Native in the Burren, Co. Clare.

Five-petalled yellow flowers. Pinnate leaves with five untoothed leaflets. Peeling bark. Height to 1m.

Native in the Burren, Co. Clare on rocky ground near loughs and turloughs. Frequently planted as a garden shrub and can be found as a garden escape or as a relic of cultivation.
