Flowering August-September. Perennial. Native.

Paler yellow flowers than Common Ragwort, bracts not dark-tipped. Achenes hairy. Leaves deep-pinate, narrow, coarse-toothed segments. Stems and leaves with greyish-white cottony hairs, densest beneath leaves. Short creeping rhizomes. Height 50-100cm.

Roadsides, waste ground, grassland, on dry neutral or calcareous soils. Dublin and east coast of Ireland, can be locally frequent.
