Northern Bedstraw Numerous small white flowers, terminal and auxillary. Fruit with hooked bristles. Whorls of four narrow leaves with three veins. Erect growth, 20-45cm. Found on damp, base-rich soils. Lake-shores, streamsides, rocky ground. Mainly found in Galway and Clare in the west of Ireland. Absent from the south. Identified by Paul Green |
