Flowering May-September. Annual. Garden escape. Introduced.

Various cultivars are available. 4-petalled flowers can be white, pink, purple, red or mauve. Lance-shaped green leaves. Height to 25cm.

Tolerates poor soils, prefers full sun. Rarely recorded garden escape or discard.

Similar: Perennial Candytuft. White flowers.
