Peak flowering June-July. Evergreen perennial. Garden escape. Introduced.

Star-shaped pale-blue flowers, 5-petalled. Self-fertile but does not produce seed freely. Evergreen leaves, hairy stems. Spreads vigorously.

Prefers moist well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates drought, poor soil and semi-shade. Often planted for groundcover. Occasional garden escape, usually on walls.
