Flowering July - August. Evergreen perennial. Garden escape.

Panicles of pink to reddish-purple flowers, very occasionally white. 5-petalled. Fleshy green leaves, often tinged orange or reddish, usually opposite. Margins strongly papillose. Stems procumbent / decumbent, rooting. To 20cm.

Often grown in gardens, can be persistent as garden escape, discard or relic of cultivation.
