Flowering May - June. Perennial. Garden escape.

Many white flowers with notched petals, nearly covering the leaves. Seeds freely. Narrow leaves, woolly, silvery-grey, not dying back in winter. Mat-forming, spreading growth.

Sunny, well-drained, infertile soils. Walls, pavement cracks, roadsides, waste ground. Fairly common garden escape, discard or relic of cultivation, usually found near habitation.
