Previously listed in the genus Hieracium. Also known as Fox-and-cubs.
Flowering: June - August. Perennial. Garden escape. Introduced.

Orange flowers, clusters of 5-20 flowerheads. Seeds freely. Leaves in basal rosette, also some stem leaves. Stems branched, hairy. Height: Usually over 20cm.

Occasional on dry banks, roadsides, walls. Most frequent in N Ireland. Garden escape, introduced from central Europe.
