Flowering June - July. Perennial. Garden escape. Introduced.

Shallow cup-shaped violet-blue flowers with darker veins, notched petals.
Lobed basal leaves. Hairy, clump-forming plant. Flower stalks to 60cm. Hardy.

Prefers well-drained ground. Very occasional garden escape or discard.
