Flowering May - June. Perennial. Native.

Loose, leafless spike of pure white flowers, most not opening fully. Lip with small orange spot. Very small bracts at tip of spike, lower bracts can be longer. Strap-shaped leaves with prominent veins, keeled, upper with pointed tips. To 60cm.

Grows in damp woodland and scrub. Very rare, scattered distribution but mainly found in the southern half of Ireland. Endangered species, protected by 1999 Flora Protection Order
