Clusters of purplish green-yellow flowers with 12+ prominent stamens.
Bi-pinnate leaves, leaflets usually lobed or shallow-toothed. Slender stems.
Almost hairless plant. Variable. Height: 30-100cm.

Mainly coastal. Calcareous or neutral rocky or stony ground, dunes, lake edges, limestone pavements, mountain rock ledges. Very local distribution, mainly found in W Ireland, decreasing.
