Flowering: Summer to early autumn. Sub-shrub. Garden escape.

Orange-red tubular flowers.
Evergreen or semi-evergreen. Frost hardy but grows best in sheltered
positions as new growth can be cut back by frost. Height to 1.5m.
Spreads by seed and vegetatively by means of suckers.

Infrequently recorded garden escape or relic of cultivation.
