Flowering: May-July. Deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub. Garden escape.

Small white flowers, 1-4 together. Orange-red fruit in autumn.
Leaves green, shiny, slightly downy beneath. Less than 3cm long.
Turn yellow - orange/red in autumn. Height: To 4m.

Common bird-sown garden escape. Roadsides, woods, hedges, scrub,
waste ground. Introduced.
