Flowering: June-October. Annual or short-lived perennial. Native.

Small 4-petalled yellow flowers. Petals shorter or equal to sepals. Fruit held to
one side of stalk, slightly curved, 2-3 x length fruit stalk. Basal leaves often
lyre-shaped, pinnately-lobed. Stem leaves unstalked,lobed or unlobed. Hairless.
Stems procumbent to ascending. Identified by Paul Green, Co.Wexford.

Found on bare damp ground, pond edges, stream sides, turloughs.
