Flowering time: June-July. Evergreen shrub. Garden escape.

Cymes of 5-petalled small white flowers. Orange-red berries in autumn.
Dark green leaves, untoothed, lance-shaped. To 10cm long.
Vigorous, branching growth. Seeds can be dispersed by birds.
Height/spread: To 5m.

Garden escape. Introduced.

Similar: C. salicifolius 'Gnom' (C. 'Gnome').
Shorter leaves, semi-prostrate growth to 2m. White flowers in early summer.
