Solitary large white flowers, yellow centres, on long, erect stems.
Basal rosette of stalked leaves, slightly toothed, spoon-shaped. Stalk-less stem leaves, oblong-lanceolate. Hairless or sparsely hairy plant. Height: 20-70cm

Abundant on roadsides, dry grassland, waste ground.
