Eastern Gladiolus Spike of up to 20 funnel-shaped purple-red flowers. Sword-shaped basal leaves enclosing lower part of flowering stem. The corm is frost tender. Height: To 70cm. Rare garden escape or discard. Recorded counties Cork, Dublin, Waterford and Wexford from a range of habitats: road banks, sea-cliffs, waste ground, stream banks, dunes.
