Flowering: May-October. Annual/short-lived perennial. Garden escape.

Umbels of 1-7 small 5-petalled, yellow flowers. Hairy seed capsules.
Alternate leaves are trifoliate, dark red-purple or purplish-green.
Brittle scrambling or creeping stems, rooting at nodes.

Garden and urban weed, wasteground, paths. Introduced garden escape.
