Pale Pink-sorrel
Oxalis incarnata
Family: Oxalidaceae

Flowering: May-July. Perennial. Introduced. Garden escape.

Solitary pale-pink flowers with darker veins, 5-petalled, long-stalked.
Does not set seed. Pale-green tri-foliate leaves, heart-shaped leaflets.
Grows from underground bulb, stem bears small bulbils. Hairless.

Shady hedgerows, walls, pavement cracks. Occasional garden escape or discard, coastal S and E Ireland.

Similar: Pink-sorrel, O. articulata. Deep-pink flowers, larger leaves.
