Flowering time: June-September. Annual. Native.

Small white or pink flowers almost hidden by dense silky white hairs.
Flower-heads egg-shaped, stalked.
Stalked trifoliate lower leaves, upper leaves un-stalked, linear-oblong.
Hairy, usually erect plant. Height: 5-20cm.

Open sandy, rocky ground, dunes, grassland, sea-cliffs. Local and usually
coastal in Ireland.
