Basal leaves pinnate, 3-12 pairs greyish-green leaflets.
Slightly hairy or hairless. 'Cucumber' smelling, salad plant.
Height: 15-40cm.

Prefers dry, infertile calcareous grasslands.
Scarce, mainly central and W Ireland.
