Flowering: June-September. Perennial. Introduced. Garden escape.

Two-lipped yellow flowers with small red spots only in throat. Lower lip longer than upper. Flower stalks, calyx are downy. Anthers have pollen, otherwise plant is a hybrid. Leaves opposite, broad-toothed. Many creeping stolons. Height: To 75 cm.

Usually near water, stream-sides, water-side fields. Garden escape.
