Flowering: June-August. Succulent perennial. Native.

Yellow flowers, 5-petalled, in small,branched cymes. Small fleshy leaves,
broadest at base, peppery taste. Blunt-pointed. Mat-forming. Height: to 10cm.

Mainly on limestone. Rocks, walls, dunes. Commonest yellow-flowered stonecrop.

Similar: Tasteless Stonecrop, S. sexangulare. Smaller flowers, no peppery taste. Very rare. Introduced.
