Wall Speedwell

Flowering time: March-October. Annual. Native.

Small blue flowers, white-centred, on short stalks. Deeper blue
than other speedwells. Smaller flowers on early flowering plants.
Downy leaves, oval-triangular, toothed. Upper leaves stalk-less, narrower.
Erect/prostrate, more/less branched growth habit. Height: 5-20cm

Very common, dry ground, walls, dunes, waste ground, heaths, open grassland.
Less frequent in W Ireland.
