Bugle Dark blue erect flowering spike with white marks on lower lip. Paired stem leaves, rosette of shiny untoothed basal leaves. Many rooting runners. Height: 10-30 cm Widespread, common in woods, hedges, fields, and on roadsides. Related: Pyramidal Bugle, A. pyramidalis. Tiny purple flowers nearly hidden by leafy bracts.
