Sea Radish
Raphanus raphanistrum ssp. maritimus

Family: Brassicaceae

Flowering: June-August. Biennial or perennial. Native.

Pale yellow flowers. White-flowered forms also found. Fruit pods with
1-5 beaded joints, strongly ribbed. Fruits more than 5mm wide. Pinnate-lobed leaves, larger end-lobe, bristly. Much-branched leafy stems. Height: 35-90cm

Coastal on beaches, dunes, cliffs, grassland. Can be locally abundant.
