Flowering time: May-September. Perennial. Native.

Short racemes of blue flowers, white centred, growing from leaf axils.
Blunt-toothed oval leaves, Opposite, short-stalked.
Spreading, rooting, reddish stems. Hairless slightly fleshy plant.
Height / spread: To 50cm

Common and widespread in damp places. Ponds, streams, wet fields,
ditches, roadsides.
