Flowering time: June-September. Perennial. Native.

Clusters of tiny red-green flowers in leaf axils, mostly hermaphrodite. Seeds black, shiny. Un-toothed, alternate, lanceolate leaves without stipules. Reddish stems, branched, spreading. Not rooting at nodes. Downy/hairy plant. Height/spread: Usually 20-40cm. but can grow taller.

Usually found on old walls, occasionally on rocks or shingle beaches.
Most frequent in S of Ireland.
