Ladys Bedstraw Panicles of small golden-yellow flowers on 4-angled stems. 8-12 narrow, pointed leaves in whorls up stems, single-veined. Hairless. Creeping stems at base. Hairless black fruit. Height: 15-60cm Common throughout Ireland on dunes, grassland, coastal road banks. Similar: Hybrids with Hedge Bedstraw have pale yellow flowers. |
