Flowering time: July - August. Perennial. Native.

Erect flowering spike, bright yellow flowers with orange anthers.
Flat, iris-like basal leaves, stem leaves are small and scale-like.
Height: 10-40cm.

Can be locally very frequent on wet heathlands and sphagnum bogs throughout Ireland.
