Flowering time: April-October. Perennial. Native.

Flower spike shorter than furrowed stem. Anthers pale yellow-white.
Basal rosette of leaves, spreading to more/less erect.
Linear to oval-lanceolate. One or more leaf rosettes.
Flower stems covered with silky hairs. Height: Stems to 50 cm.

Abundant on roadsides, gardens, grassland and wasteland.
