Flowering time: April-October. Annual or biennial. Native.

Small pale yellow flowers in long racemes. Fruits long, narrow, pressed close to stem. Less than 18mm. Young fruit hairless, hairy when ripe. Basal leaves pinnately lobed, broad terminal lobe. Irregularly large-toothed. Stem leaves similar, clasping, arrow-shaped bases. Tough stems. Height: To 80cm

Very common, roadsides, wasteland, hedgebanks.
